Daytona boots!
Daytona Boots - great factory repair facility
I personally wouldn't wear anything else - but I do give them quite a hard time, with me riding many thousands of 'on track' miles each season when coaching and racing.In fact, on a coaching day I put my Daytonas on about 8am and they're then on for the rest of the day until 5:30pm!
I recently sent a pair back to the factory for repairs rather than ask
for a new pair of 'outers' - when they returned, I couldn't believe what
a fantastic job Helmut had done with all the repairs.

A bit 'iffy'
when we arrived at Donington in the dark this morning. But the wind's dried the majority of the track and the sun is out so it might turn out nice for today's coaching client.

all hands to the pumps
Got to take our stuff off the hire bike now and return it before we can even start to think about packing up.
did my best.
The boys tried their best having put our stuff on a hired bike; but with no warm up session it really was wing and a prayer stuff. It didn't fit me and settings felt awful but I stayed out and managed to get 5th.
Magic is woven!
Big up to the boys, by time I returned from Eric's wedding this morning there was a bike ready for me to take to the grid. Should be on Eurosport 2 about 3pm.

Leading James behind Robbie in the race and unfortunately the bike seized. Have jumped in the car to head back up North to join in celebrations for the wedding of 'little blu' and Janine.

Late practice 5.10pm
Now that's done we have to crack on and get the wheels to the tyre men as we're out first thing at 9am for qualifying. Warmers on at 8am means we have to the tyres done tonight.

Discovered that the frame's broken so we won't be racing today. Had a fab time though all things considered.

Not too good.
Good start and was in the top ten but had to pull in at the end of the first lap as the HT lead had pulled out of the Mag. Back out for a few laps and the gear linkage fell apart. Poor Howie, he never got chance to ride. He'll be starting tomorrow so might get some laps in.
